2 more CDs! Making it a total of $100 spent on CDs this month... Note that I didn't wait for my December paycheck heh. I bought Kaira Kwong's debut album, and S.H.E's new album.

Well, she's a female Singaporean artiste who looks pretty cute, but that's not her selling point. Her voice sounds quite warm and lilting, quite alike to Joi Chua but deeper. Her vocal range is pretty wide too, like Sun Yanzi. Those, coupled with the fact that she wrote most of the songs for this album, makes her quite a talented singer/songwriter.
Somehow, she vaguely reminds me of Corrinne May, in the sense that the lyrics really connects with the listener. All of the tracks in the album are pretty slow, which suits me as usual haha... But like Cheer Chen's album that I bought, it can get hard to individually identify the songs because they are all slow... It's less a problem in this album though. Anyway, I'd recommend the album to anyone who wants more of Sun Yanzi and/or Joi Chua. What a coincidence that they're all local. Hmm.

Well, yet another album from them, and they continue to serve up their offering of pop songs which are easy to the ear. That being said, I like the fact that they can continue with what they're good at without sounding boring, since it's already been like... How many albums? Heh. Well all I can say is, "It's yet another album from them."
