Wonderfully Simple

Just had the class BBQ last night, and the hangover is still making my head hurt (from charlie's crazy sining that is... not the pathetic amount of alcohol i consumed). Sufficient to say, it was something that i would not forget very easily, even though i spent most of the time at the BBQ grill cooking stuff... i still could hear some pretty wierd and rather disturbing noises coming from behind me. O... to place the farrago of emotions and feelings that happeded that night seem almost sacrilegous... yet, to not do so would seem equally criminal.

For myself, the morning and the afternoon was spent with von, scouring the nooks and crannies of every gift shop in orchard, great world, bishan and yishun for a suitable gift for sulin's birthday present. Through much happy coincidience, Sulin's birthday fell on the same day as the BBQ, so we would be ushering in a new year for Sulin, even as we say good bye to Miss Koh (now that was strangely poetic yar?). Between all the walking and running and worming our way through crowds, i humbly agree that women are ultimately better off then men... to think that they can walk to orchard, be distracted by nearly everything, and yet still end up with the most perfect gift for people... simply amazing and beyond the comprehension of this poor little male mind (i should also mention that von took insurmountable peasure taking in my discomfort at walking through the lingerie seciton... and hence we ended up walking pass various lingerie sections/stalls abt 8-9 times. Thats enought lacy stuff to last me an eternity...

At any rate the BBQ soon started off (in an incredibly posh condo which i will probably never ever see again...) and it wasn't soon before sulin was uncerimonously dunked into the pool, followed by wei man. Wei Zhi would have met that same watery fate but she quite literally attached herself unto karthik and refused to let go. It was kinda sad... since sulin's glasses were broken in the process of being dunked, and Wei Zhi happened to be one of those throwing her in. Naturally.. the class was rather put off by her behavior, and sulin was kinda pissed... so yea. Not funny to push people in and then refuse to be pushed in in return. And so.... wei zhi excluded herself from the nights activities and ended up going home early... i really hope that things get worked out between everyone, its rather sad to see the class all divided.

On a happier note, the ludicorous antics of the rest of the class kinda made up for the rather awkard moment... Ian pulled of an incredibly accurate Stitch impersonation, even dacing to the beat of that song Stitch dances to. Miss Koh did a pedicure (woot new word todae) in the pool (much to the annoyance of the annoying security), and vanessa had romatic flings with Andrea, Nicola and Sumi.. all in one night.

At any rate, Miss Koh eventually left. Following that, we retired to a clearner spot... Ian quickly wisked out some alcohol and FHM... and soon everyone was just sitting around drinking or just talking underneath a clear night sky... Sigh... waht a feeling. Ofcourse this was promptly spoiled when Ian started prancing around the grass patch, dancing to the chines/hokkien song that Chalie on the radio just now. Dotz..

P.s : I really hope everything goes well charlie. You're a great guy and you deserve it...
P.p.s : Sonia... i just hope everything is okay.
