Okaaay... So I'm guilty of not updating this page regularly enough. Sue me! Really... I NEED to keep it filled with tidbits of my sad, sorry life if I actually want to keep it going... -end rant-
I was on leave for the whole of this week~ So lemme recap, beginning from the Sunday *yawn* guard duty... I was on sentry duty for quite a stupid reason, and that led to 8 boring hours scattered through the totally uneventful day... Nothing much to say. Guard duty's not always so... Nostalgic? Haha...
Well, guard duty pretty much left me sleepy on Monday, so I didn't do much, sans gaming. Somehow, I'm finding it hard to tell people I'm still playing Warcraft 3 and CS... It's like ashamed of it, somehow lol. But I do play those games with mods, so I guess it's not old or anything. Nevertheless, I think it's time I pick up something new, or go back to an old game... like WoW... Hmm.
Tuesday was fun... Celebrated Brigitte's and Victoria's birthdays together with the class =) We played badminton in the mornin' then headed over to Pastamania at TPY Central for lunch and yummy cake, and in between all that was all the catching up and the random interrogation of Neo lol... Fun times... Friends and food are 2 things I can't live without in this world (Friends != Food. I'm not THAT hungry). I'll post pictures shortly.
Anyway, after lunch and the chocolate truffle cake we went on to play pool. Brigitte showed off (well, not quite) her new cue given by her friends. Jealousy! So fortunate to have such nice friends =/ Haha... My pool skills still leave much to be desired, and my shots are as inconsistent as an air particle in Brownian motion still =( Maybe I need to play more?
I stayed till 6, at which I walked home to shower and change to go out with my siblings and my cousins to eat at Marche. Pork Knuckles = good stuff! But it's a little on the steep side at $18... Still worth it, IMO, 'cos half a knuckle's quite a large serving for a single person. I still can recall the time where I tried to finish a WHOLE knuckle by myself... Note to everyone: That is suicide. Kids, do not try it at any Marche outlet. I also had crepe with caramelized bananas and ice-cream. Sweet, sinful goodness! Gosh I just realised I ate alot of good food that day. Alot of rich food. Oh well. I live to eat!
Anyway, we caught the Legend of Zorro after that... Maybe it's because I haven't watched a good movie in quite a while (the last being... erm...), but I found it surprisingly good. Good humour, riveting plot, and a family-oriented subplot to boot... Nice package, I'd say. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants something to watch. (Sidenote: Do NOT watch Doom. To watch it is to doom your money to being wasted on a lousy film.)
I went over to my cousin's house to stay for a few days... Heck, I just got home not too long ago X) Spent most of my time on his brand new PSP. *Drool* I'm seriously considering getting one man. PSP + 3rd party software can transform it into a multi-platform portable gaming machine. Amazing.
It's been a lazy but fun week so far =)
