The last day of school of my JC life. Definitely, memories of the place will stay with me. The people I met, the people I was reunited with, the people I saw again. They will stay with me for a long time.
Somehow, I'm reluctant to leave school, 'cos that's where I interact with my friends. It's gonna be next to impossible to meet them now, since most of them are in overdrive mugging mode, but I do hope that we will still stay as friends even after the exams, and not fade away in each other's hearts and minds.
My teacher once said, "Primary school is where you will make your best friends, the ones whom you can count on, because you'll be with them for 6 years, compared to the 4 in secondary school, and 2 in JC." I guess it was logical, but having gone through (almost) the entire 12 years, I must say that he was wrong. There's only one reason for it: we do not fully appreciate the value of friendship until we gain maturity of thought. While I'm not quite there yet, I definitely think more mature stuff than a primary school kid. And I must say, friendship holds a very high place in my value system.
